What is a computer nerd or computer geek?
I know my brother is a computer geek or nerd when he was younger since high school and dropped out because of the computer but its hard to tell the way he looks and he is very slick. How would also one act? What would one behave like?
There is the stereotypical way ppl asscociate with pc nerds/geeks, that being big framed glasses, pocket protector, high water pants and always speaking in computer terms or languages, or usuing alot of online chatspeak (lol omfg etc etc) but that isnt really true. All a so called pc nerd or geek is, is someone who knows alot about pc's in all aspects, software, hardware, networks, whatever you can think thats coputer related, that person usually knows the answer, or at the very least knows how to find it. I know ppl who you never see with a piece of technology EVER, yet you can call them up and ask whats wrong with your wireless router and they can spend an hour telling you without even getting up. So yeah, there's nothing wrong with being called a pc nerd/geek, it jsut means you know your stuff real well, and there isnt any set way to act or look, except for the extreme Im a nerd and I love it kind of people! LOL...anyways, hope that helped, you can still look/be cool and still have knowledge ;p
